based in the Czech Republic, these two artists have created a line of dishware inspired by the Amanita mushroom. Each mug, saltshaker, and plate is infused with a variation of the fungi’s trademark red and white polka dot design. Some cups are more literal—including a bulbous lid to emulate the mushroom top—while others take on more classic shapes.
Vanda and Valerie have been making high-quality ceramic art since 1998, and take meticulous steps in each piece. Their pottery is fired at a temperature of 1180 degrees Celcius (2156 degrees Fahrenheit), ensuring high durability. Additionally, all pieces are dishwater and microwave safe and have European hygienic certificates.
