The Loddon Shire is weighing up whether to allow a mushroom farm to be set up near Dunolly.
The council has received five objections to the proposed farm, which would be housed in a shed to be built at the property on Sporting Flat Road, north of Dunolly.
The objectors are worried the farm will cause noise, dust and odour problems for surrounding homes.
In their report to today's council meeting, shire staff say the permit application lacks detail about how those issues can be addressed.
They are recommending councillors reject the plan.
The council will also vote today on a long-running proposal to relocate Inglewood's V/Line bus stop.
