Proceeds from these "Mushrooms Go Pink" dishes will go the ICanServe Foundation which provides women with breast cancer information so they can make informed decisions about their health.
At The Dining Room at Opus, 10% of the price of its Mushrooms go Pink Salad (braised organic oyster mushrooms with beet root, goat’s cheese, horseradish and smoked salmon dust), which is available for P420++, will go to the foundation until December. (For inquiries call 0917-874-7738.)
At Sugarleaf, two dishes are offered: Oyster mushroom quiche (oyster mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, yogurt, eggs and pie crust) and Oyster mushroom soap, for P150 and P85 respectively. Ten percent of the proceeds from the dishes go to the I Can Serve Foundation, Inc.
Sugarleaf has branches at the MEDICard Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Roxas corner Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Urdaneta Village, Makati; and at the Health Cube Bldg., 226 Wilson St., West Greenhills, San Juan.
"Mushrooms Go Pink" also has several collaborative events such as:

• the Edgy Veggy + Kitchen Revolution Benefit Dinner, Cooking Demo, and Lecture on Oct. 16, at Edgy Veggy, G/F #3 Brixton St., Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Proceeds go to the I Can Serve Foundation.
• The Bototoy Loves Boobies Art Fundraiser on Oct. 17 at Ronac Art Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, in which local artists designing their own Bototoys, an inconic wooden toy, with the inspiration of mushrooms and breast cancer.
• Yoga For Breast Cancer Recovery on Oct. 18 at co.lab Manila, 3/F Unit 301 #3 Brixton St., Kapitolyo, Pasig, with yoga instructorRebecca de Villa.
• Zodio, a free app for Apple and Android, hooked up with Ministry of Mushrooms for an interactive, real-time, social community dining experience that gives back. At all participating food establishments, Zodio will give P1 for every person who checks-in, P1 for every photo uploaded, and P1 for every review given.
